Time

We all come across contradictions that have our heads spinning. Some say that happiness is a choice and some will tell you how you end up has a lot to do with fate. But in between all the spaces to be filled and questions to be answered; there is a panic room that gets smaller every day, the walls move an inch closer to your body and you feel the time ticking waiting for you to figure out what you believe in. There are choices and there is a fate but the missing factor that goes by unoticed is the unseen; time. Your realisation of how much time you’ve spent and how much that could be left is the main determinant of all the questions and time is the only answer that can fill the blanks.

Deprimere

As time passes by you may feel another person growing within you; with a mind of its own, words of its own. You’ll hear a voice in your head that sounds exactly like your voice speaking softly, telling you things you don’t want to know. With every passing day it will tell you there’s no point, it will drag you down and it’ll tell you to focus on the small things. Your eyes will get consumed and you won’t see beyond the ugliness that stands before you, your ears will only respond to this voice and your entire being will lose its will to move forward and you’ll wake up one day to hear this voice speaking through your tongue, its will so strong that you can’t remember who you were before it took over and you’ll try to look back and recall if anything existed beneath all the numb sensations, but every time you do the person you’ve become will pull you away from your salvation and you’ll realise you’ve already accepted the state of nothingness you’re in.

Poison

Anger is very much like an odourless, colourless poison; hard to distinguish it from pure water, as it brews silently in a pot of steel. In the very same way; anger with all its wrath and fatality, is merely an emotion just like any other, bringing with it weakness and strength. In it you may salvage yourself and then get destroyed, you spill and slosh it on the people around you; sprinkling them with drops and causing damages that your eyes don’t see. As it brews and seethes under your skin, it becomes a part of who you are just like the water you’re made of, until it reaches its peak and just as you begin to differentiate the poison from the water; you meet your end.
